Need to get rid of some yotes at dads house. He said last night his dog went crazy and came screaming to the house and he flipped the light on and found 2 yotes at the back porch chasing the dog.

Back when I was living up near Remington, it took about 50 stiches to fix the yote damage to our mini schnauzer. It (they?) got her about 50 feet from our front door.

Be friendly to the local coyote hunters and they will solve your problem
    LMFAO!!!

Tried that all we got out of it was a bunch of Jackasses Wheeling thru the Fields leaving a bunch of Nasty ruts...

What has worked for us in the past is to make friends with a Hog Farmer and purchase a Wounded Rabbit Call...

Hog farmers can get rid of a lot of things. Jackasses are one of them.

    LOL

I shoot Cur Dogs on a pretty regular basis here...
I wish people would just shoot their own dogs instead of setting them free...

It would be better if most of those people volunteered for castration and never had a pet that isn't always contained in a bowl of water.

My dad use to do the same and would curse those bastards who dropped their dogs, sayin he'd like to whoop their asses.

Regarding the OP ... I'm wondering what kind of dog it was that got chased home. Need more dog I think.

At "back porch" distance I really like heavy shot out of an extra full choke 12 gauge. The ar is great (and by far my all-around favorite coyote gun) but if coyotes are up that close they are well past the point of me worrying about tearing up the hide. Its more about killing than hunting when they are in my yard :)

Depends on how many coyotes there are.We lost mature coondogs to coyotes when I was hunting back in the 80s....Might have been coydogs though.
