OK, time has come to part ways with the toy. 1988 Z51 4+3 with a crap-ton of new parts. Here's the list:
NEW:
Upper/lower front control arms, NOS GM arms with bushings/ball-joints.
Timken front and rear bearings
Front and rear rotors
HAwk HPS pads front and rear
Goodridge braided brake lines
New Master Cylinder.
New clutch master, slave and custom braided line.
New Clutch/PP/TOB, flywheel and bushing.
New OEM motor mounts
P/S pump, pressure line
Rebuilt the original Z51 Rack and Pinion.
New outer tie rods.
New Poly bushings in all rear control arms.
All new u-joints (all 6)
Engine Rebuilt this winter with upgrades:
Stock L98 block bored .030 over, decked
Turned stock crank
New mains/rods/cam bearings (federal mogul)
.030 flattop pistons (compression ration ~10.46:1)
Comp Cams Cam, lifters, pushrods, double roller timing set (CompCams CS-266H-R14, .500I, .510E, 114* lobe sep, 266I/276E duration)
New valves, 3-angle valve job, new valve seats, fel-pro seals
Hedman Long tube headers cerama-coated by Pro-Kote Indy in/out.
MiniRam intake with rails LT1 injectors AFPR
TPiS A.I.R. Pump eliminator kit.
New Water pump
Melling High volume Oil Pump
small cap distributor with new pick/up and module.
New external coil.
New Knock sensor/wiring
New Starter
New input and poutput seals on the trans, Royal Purple rear diff fluid with GM LSD additive, RP in the trans, OD unit flushed with "normal" non-synth Dex III. Obviously all new fluids (coolant, p/s fluid, oil etc). Finally got the car running great. pulls to 6k rpms like a raped ape.
Mechanically the car is almost new. It needs the interior finished and a paint job. Has 17" Z06 knockoff wheels (17x9.5) and Kumho SPT tires that are almost completely done.
$7500 invested, asking $6500. Will help with delivery for cost of gas and maybe a lunch.
