I am interested in having a really old seat padded and reupholstered. needs to be a VERY weather resistant material... all I have is the bare metal seat that is slightly tweeked... non of the replacement seats at tractor supply have the bolt pattern that I need to fit a long 1119a super duty backhoe attachment.

Years ago, the farmer I worked for took a piece of flat 1/4" steel about 8" square and drilled holes to make an adapter to fit a new seat on his old tractor.

    You might try these folks

    Anderson Tractor Supply

My family and I have gotten quite a few "hard to get" parts from Anderson's over the years. Great folks to deal with as well. You might call them and see if they have what you're needing.

If you end up getting the seat redone Jim's Custom Trim does great work.

I can set you up with a person who did some antique wheel horse tractor seats for us. I'm sure they could do leather. If your interested pm me and I'll give you te contact info. It's expensive but quality work and accurate.

Its off a Long119a backhoe.... its just the bare metal, but the way it attaches most of the "universal" replacements wont work... it will be an incredibly low use item so I am thinking about just glueing some seat cushions to it, or buying a padded cover. I doubt I will spend more than 100 hours on this in the next 5 years combined.
