I've had this Turked Gewehr 88/05 for some years now. I just don't shoot it anymore.

It requires 150grn 7.92x57IS ammo or lighter -- NOT regular 8mm Mauser ammo.

The Gewehr 88 was the first German military rifle designed for a smokeless powder round. Though it was originally designed for an enbloc clip, the latter 1905 modification gave it the ability to use stripper clips.

I'm ready to let someone else enjoy this rifle. It'll come with handloads (which you use at your own risk) and several stripper clips.

I'm looking to trade specifically for a Mannlicher M.95 straight pull. I prefer the carbine version, but the full-length works as well.

Prefer close-ish to Wabash and to see an IN LTCH.

    Thanks!
