I've purchased used Uberti revolvers for 300.00 @ the local gun shows. I still have one and recently sold the other on INGO. So 250.00 plus fees and maybe local sales tax isn't really a hot deal.

That seems like a pretty good price for a new Uberti to me. They are pretty nice six guns too. If I had some spare $$ I'd buy one.

It arrived today. Tanners Sports Center at Jamison, PA sent the Umberti 1973 Cattleman Hombre (.357/.38 SPL) quickly to Tomlinson Shooting Supplies, Churubusco. JetGirl completed the federal paperwork and I was out the door with a fine new toy. Entire process went smoothly.

To Tomlinsons for excellent service with the FFL for $25.

I will post a range report when I get a chance to try it out.

Shot my Cattelman 44-40 this week. Its a great piece to play with. I was using HSM ammo and there was lots of smoke. My hands were black after thumbing 100 rounds. Its expensive stuff too.

Have fun shooting. Remember the fastest gun-hand in the west was "No Toes Bailey".
