    Is the range really unusable? The match would be pretty low demand on ventilation compared to normal range use—only one shooter at a time with breaks between to score.
    Only one shooter at a time yes, but like ~40 shooters with four stages. With no ventilation, that ~5,000 rounds of smoke and lead dust would be unpleasant and hazardous.

    When I called Parabellum yesterday for info on this. It sounded like I could hear shooting in the background. I didn't press the issue or inquire further.

    I have shot in there recently and even from the firing line it gets pretty smokey. But I heard it should be fixed very soon
