Although you must submit a copy of your home state license/permit with your Utah application, you can still take the class while waiting to receive that home state license/permit, and then just wait to apply to Utah until you receive it. This class is good for 1 year.
For llinois residents this is not applicable you just go ahead and take the class and apply to Utah.

    Hi,
When will you be offering the NRA basic Pistol course with the Ohio CCW add on in Richmond? How old do kids have to be to take the NRA basic Pistol course?
    Thanks for your help.

Many have asked if national reciprocity is law now. The answer is NO it is NOT law.

This bill has only passed the House and must be presented and passed in the Senate, and then signed by Obama, who will probably veto it. Even if it makes it thru, which it has not since 1992, it will be a long time before this would go into effect.

Don't get caught in a State where you do not have the proper permits to carrry legally. It's not worth it !
