So I marched in the Popcorn Festival parade as part of the GOP float. Got a chance to meet Todd Rhinehart (sp?) and wife and enjoy a long chat with them.
Spoke extensively with Jim Wallace, who is running in the GOP primary for governor. He is a West Point grad. We had a long talk about the 2nd Amendment and he agreed as to it's importance. He stated that he did not feel that any further restrictions or rules on LTC were necessary and agreed that Vermont style carry had its attractions.
He's a member of the NRA but doesn't have his LTC. I told him that he needed to get one because when people like me asked him that question a negative answer was really kind of a disappointment, and embarrassing for him.
