Vanishing Posts

I'm a little confused.

My posts in the introduction section, are disappearing. Yes, disappearing.

Why is this?? Pretty soon, I'm not wasting my time welcoming anyone, if they keep going away.

I do notice, site supporters don't have a problem with their posts disappearing.

What gives?

Anyone have any input, please enlighten me.

Thanks for the input. My goal wasn't to get to 50, to get into the classifieds, I have my own sources. No offense. Again, Thanks for the help.

One of the rules we have here on INGO is that a member must have 50 quality posts before participating in the Classifieds section. Therefore, a member's first 50 posts made are always under strict scrutiny by the Mods.

Posts in the Intro forum do not count as quality posts, and therefore, we remove any welcome posts by members with fewer than 50 posts.

Once you reach the threshold of 50 quality posts, you are free to participate in the Classifieds, and your Welcome posts will no longer be pulled.

It has nothing to do with Site Supporter status.

We like the welcoming atmosphere that INGO members offer in the Intro forum, so please continue to welcome new members once you reach your 50 posts.

No worries here. There are tons of people that join just for that though. If your truley here for more than that you'll see that there is a wealth of knowledge to be had from many people on here. Enjoy the site and Welcome.

I understand that you say your intent is not to get to the classifieds, Titanium Man. Since you're over 50 posts and have not posted there, my inclination is to believe you. The problem is that we cannot tell that prior to you reaching 50 posts, so yeah, you got some posts deleted.

The thinking behind it is that when you are new somewhere yourself, it's kind of odd to be welcoming people.

Given that the rule has been made clear numerous times, I'm sure you understand the position we mods find ourselves in when having to make judgment calls.

And since I'm far from being new here.... to .
