Volunteer Commando MK III

I was looking for some help on my Volunteer Commando MK III. I have debated selling it and was wondering what people have seen them go for as of late. With Karr Arms raising the Thompson prices, I know these have gone up a lot, but I see a wide range from $800 to $1500. More so than that I would like to know if anyone had had these before and was wondering where they got parts for them. This one works fine but I can tell the recoil spring only has 1000 rounds at best till it needs replaced. this is the late '60s- early 70's model with the square receiver if that helps.
