    Is that an older model?
I can't find it on any distributor websites.

I can find 3 models of Lady Smiths.

    Smith and Wesson 642LS LadySmith 38 Special - $479.35

    Smith and Wesson 36LS LadySmith 38 Special - $474.02

    Smith and Wesson 60LS LadySmith 357 Magnum | 38 Special - $490.00

That's New dealer price, add $17 shipping and $15 transfer fee.

I can't find on the S&W site but I found a listing at J&G sales in AZ.
S&W Model 3913 9mm semi auto pistol, VG.

    they are good folks.

The Arizona gun looks like a good deal. Karl is on top of things :rockwoot:

Yes, nice concealable flat 45. You can find these at all over the place pricing. Summit Guns had some PD trades that were supposed to be nice awhile back for a reasonable 45 price.

Does it have to be the Lady Smith version? If not, it might be easier to find the standard 3913 or 3914 (the blued version). Note that the Lady Smith 3913 won't use the same holsters as the standard 3913/3914 because the dustcover on the frame has a different shape.

You might also consider the model 908, which was the "economy" 3913/3914. Its dustcover is a bit blockier than the 3913, so you might not be able to use all kydex holsters made for the 3913. The only other significant difference is that it has the safety/decocker on the left side only.

Thanks for replying, rhino......... {without the number?}:D

I prefer the Lady Smith, although it doesn't HAVE to be, I guess. Not really interested in the 908, not that they are a bad pistol.

As far as holsters, I already have an Arratoonian made holster for an LS model, so finding a holster won't be a problem................

    Later!

Yeah ... I got here before some pesky usurper could swipe my userid, so I didn't have to put "465" or "_" after my "rhino."

The 3913-series guns are among the best if not the best compact 9mm pistol ever made. I'd put the SIG Sauer P225 in the same league. They also make a great companion/backup to a 5906/5904.

Pesky usurpers! :): I like that terminology............

I agree about the 3913 series. Top notch and underrated.

Now, if I can just find a decent one that isn't two and half States away. :tantrum:

P.S. Have decided I would take a non-LS 3913 if one rears its shiny head, especially if they are a bit easier to locate.

You might want to call Plainfield Shooting Supply in Plainfield, IN. It won't be a private transfer, but every time I've been in there, they've had a nice assortment of used S&W self-loaders.

    Thanks rhino!

I might just do that next weekend............

The private transfer is no big deal, any type of sale will do, I just thought maybe someone might have one lying around they no longer needed. :shoot:

Yeah, but private transfers are almost always preferred! I'll pay more if I can do something without the government poking its nose where it does not belong. ;)
