With the thousands of law enforcement officers interviewing law-abiding gun owners, who is enforcing the law? If you fill 10,000 chairs with LEOs every workday and the interviews/paperwork/etc. takes 30 minutes each, it would take over 3 years to interview 120 million gun owners.

Math ain't the strong suit of this bunch. But neither is Constitutionality.

The enforcement of law would not be impacted. A single officer would be assigned to interview wanna-be gun owners from 1 to 2pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month.

Oh, you want to buy a gun and would like an interview? Sure, we will schedule you for sometime in October 2030 at best, but don’t hold us to that.

When I first applied for an LTCH, that is Basically how Gary did it. You had to show up between 9 and 12 on Tuesday with $40 dollars cash and a document size manila envelope with $1.25 in stamps.

They would take 4 or 5 a week.

As I have said before, all they have to do is simply make murder illegal. That would account for any type of weapon used and any method used.

Oh wait, law enforcement people do enforce the murder law, but criminals don't seem to get it, so why would any sane person think a criminal is going to not murder just because he has a specific type of weapon on hand?
