Went to Rally's yesterday afternoon...

Yesterday afternoon, I went on my supper break and I noticed this dude watching me as I was walking to my car and thought "WTF" So, I drove to Rally's, got my food and came back. The dude was still there, talking on the phone and giving me the eye. I know I'm a big guy, but WTF??? I work over 60 hrs a week at 3 stinking part-time jobs with no overtime. I used to own a small, but successful construction company and was building 3-4 houses at a time. I was providing jobs. While the insurance I was able to get for my crews wasn't anything to write home about, at least they had some. I don't even have the option now. I don't get to see my son's ball games since I have to work on Saturday mornings.

My life is tough right now, but my son knows I love him and that's what counts. I have a roof over my head, I have food on my table, my car is paid for and I'm working. It isn't what I want, but I'm not sucking on the government tit. I am blessed beyond belief.

I guess I'll pray for the dude eying me with contempt. Damn, where did my lunch time go???

What you have a problem with people who only work 40 hours a week? Jeez you're such a jerk. Just because I like to live life and the 40 hours a week is enough to fulfill my lifestyle doesn't mean you have to bash on me for it. You think you're all high and mighty for working more than me I'll show you.

I personally don't see what the big deal is. Most retail stores give associates 30 minutes for lunch and if he is over weight and walks slow he wouldn't have the time to walk there and back and eat. The real solution would be for him to bring his lunch but oh well. To each his own.
