as far as I know brass, every case I've ever deprimed has been non-metalic(magnet wont stick to it). I throw all mine in the scrap bucket and they get turned in when its full.
So, 70/30 primer brass with a nickel plating...interesting.
I was trying to think of a better way to pick up brass than sweeping or hand-picking and was wondering if some genius could invent a primer that had magnetic properties that would allow for one of those steel-sucking magnet rollers to attract the spent casings.
I'm sure if it could be done, someone would have, but I still like the idea.
Google Nut Wizard. I think the small unit is the same one Dillon sells as the Brass Wizard. My kids gave me one for Christmas and it works fairly well. It has a hard time with tall grass or casing stuck in the dirt. You can feel good about the buy as it is made in Indiana.
