I have some once fired brass that was fired on a range that is all concrete. As a result, some of the casings are pretty well scratched up where they scraped on the ground, were kicked, stepped on, etc.

After depriming them, I started wondering if they can cause any issues in the chamber? Or any other issues I haven't thought about yet?

BTW--the necks are fine around the top, it's just the sides that are scratched.

    :dunno:

Without seeing the brass, if it was mine, I would pitch it and get better brass. I wouldn't want to use good components on questionable brass. If it just has light scratches, it would probably be ok. If it is a common cal, 9mm, 45 acp, 5.56, etc.,I would pitch.

Scratches and dents are no biggie. Stepped on probably can't be saved.
Just make sure they're nice and clean before you try and size 'em.

They'll look better coming out of the cylinder/chamber than they did going in...no worries. ;)
