I had an INGO'er ask me, and I had to think about it. So, here it is....

I've owned, used, purchased and sold every piece of equipment in this whole dang reloading world at one point in the last 20 years. Here's the run down of my favorites:

Presses: Dillon Progressive / Rockchucker x3
    Dies: Redding
    Powder: Hodgdon
    Scale: RCBS Chargemaster
    Calipers: Dial
    Bullets: Hornady (pistol)
    & Sierra (rifle)
    Primers: CCI
    Lube: Hornady One Shot
    Cleaning: Hoppes
    Gun Oil: Hoppes
    That's my list. What's yours?

    Listed by MY Priorities

    1. RCBS 10-10 Scale+Dillon Digital Scale (Read NO Cheap Scale)
    2. RCBS Uniflow Measure+Dillon Measure(^^^^ ^^ ^^ Measure)
    3.Quality Dies-Redding,Dillon + RCBS (^^^^ ^^ ^^ Dies)
    4. Quality measuring tools-Brown+Sharpe calipers, L.C. Wilson,Dillon+MidwayUSA case
gauges. Again, NO room for cheap tools here!
    5. Quality presses-Dillon RL550+OLD STYLE RCBS RockChucker (NOT Supreme)
(I seat all primers on my presses)
    6. Older Dillon FL2000 Vibratory Case cleaner (20+years old+STILL works!!)
    7. RCBS Rotary Case trimmer/collets/pilots+several RCBS file type case trim dies.
    8. Several dozen different adapters, fittings, wrenches+pins to support the above tools.

In Summary: YES, I have spent ++ $ on my loading tools over the years. Yes, I have invested in QUALITY tools=I have loaded on the RockChucker for almost 4 decades, on the Dillon almost 3 decades.
IMO, your scale is the MOST important tool on your bench. Your powder measure a close second. Safety wise, the amount of powder in the cases IS of utmost importance.
It really makes me wonder when an new hand loader goes out+buys the very best press on the market, and then sets up the powder metering system with a $9.95 scale??
For the new to loading members: I have been pushing bullets into cases since around '1972', and I can tell you that-How Much Powder that is in the case- is THE key to safe and accurate hand loads.
Thanks for the "Soap Box"--Rant Over...Bill
