Where do you buy your brass in NW Indiana?

Where do you buy your brass? Specifically once fired .45acp

I have purchased some brass from Kemps in Michigan City un-primed and it has been very good. Now I just use what I purchase from the range and reload that. I have never purchased it anywhere else sorry. Maybe some of the other guys on the site can help you more.

I try not to buy from him, he's a douche. I'm curious though, how much was it from him / how much from your local range?

Range pickups and gun shows mostly. I really dont like buying brass. It is hard to get a good deal on, and drives up cost. When I am buying brass, I try to bundle it with bullets. A lot of times you can convince someone to throw in brass for nothing or next to nothing. Also look around online, that is probably your best bet if you insist on buying it.

I don't waste my time on the CP show to be quite honest.

I hit the valpo show since it's close and usually I'm not disappointed. CP show was pretty good when I moved up here back in 2002-2003. Since 2004 it's been basically all the same guns and dealers.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I'm back up to speed for the time being, I usually am good about picking up my brass and get a few extra pieces but I needed a "shot" to bolster my stash, lol.

When I lived in Hammond Indiana, in the 1990's I would buy at Kemp's. He had no personality then either, but he had bullets, primers and powder at a fair price. He usually had a good selection. I just brought my own friend with me so I would not have to try to be friendly with the shop. Does anyone know if Blythes in Valpo is still open?
