Where to get plastic "range barrels"

Does anyone know where to get plastic barrels like the ones that are at Atlanta or Riley? I'd like to get some for practicing various drills at home.

I've seen them on Craigslist as well. Usually pretty cheap.

They sell them for $10. White, blue or black

Try breweries also. The larger ones receive chemicals in them. I got mine when I worked at Upland a few months back.

The other place to look is a place that repackages food or products to make food (frozen orange juice concentrate, a Coke or Pepsi bottling company, etc.).

I have gotten some from car washes(there soap and wax comes in them)

Most of the soda pop bottlers get their syrup in them and sell used or damaged ones.

Would probably be better to just make sure there is no round chambered either way. This seems like an excuse for not being safe enough.

I understand the concept, but if you aren't either 100% sure it'll go click or bang, check again or put the tool down.

Why not just take one from the 1500 or a gun shop with a "no loaded guns" policy? I've never seen anyone using them.

You can get orange ones all over -- I picked up a few on my way to work this morning. People just leave them out along the road.

It's not for loading/unloading a firearm. It's for practicing taking cover, shooting around obstacles, etc.
