I have had a couple of Brian's knives. they are awesome. amazing bushcraft blades. there is a huge downside though and that is his wait list is like 4 years.

my 3 favorites from are the terrasuar, the anorexic terrasuar, and the bushcrafter. they aren't any high speed materialsk and they aren't huge chunks of steel but they are awesome for carving, trap making, food prep, fuzz sticks, cleaning came ect. and they can handle light batoning and stuff of the sorts. I had to sell all of mine when I was in a rough patch out of work unfortunately but I will own the anorexic again one day.

On top of all the Brian is a awesome guy who really lives the bushcraft lifestyle. always out in the woods testing different kit, gets his kids out there and teaches them, ect.

Thanks, grunt. Their simplicity and his philosophy are what drew me to research them to start with. I'm burned out from all the tacti-sexual stuff, I just like stuff that works in the woods with my kids.

Didn't realize the wait was that long. The prices seem pretty good to me for the quality.

I was thinking of asking him to make a design for me that I've been toying around with but I guess he's way too busy for that.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll find one secondhand somewhere.

He occasionally gets a extra done and posts it on Bladeforums ande every now and then a used one pops up. Another person who has a few of the same designs is fiddleback forge. Andy Roy. Also a good guy with some of the most amazing handles ever. Not a lot of tacticool stuff. Or adventure sworn but he has a serious wait to lol
