Seriously, just because the tax man doesn't ride to you on horseback, take taxes from you with his soldiers at his side, and ride your money back to the King and the Nobles doesn't mean that's not exactly what is still happening.

Of course there are a crapper full of people who depend on iilegal drug profits and I am not talking about the cartels or dealers. Lets just say that the Gov. gets its share of drug money and if they eliminated the drugs they would eliminate their portion also. It gives them incentive to let this stuff happen to find the money houses and confiscate the money. Hell they can always grow more weed, cann't just print money, for the most part but that is another thread or 1000.
