    WOW!!!
    This man is total moron, I mean there is not even a word to describe it.
    He just violated every single of the four safety rules.
    ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED.Even I knew that his gun was loaded by the simple fact that it was a freaking gun.

    Im glad that this guy wont be able to own guns in jail.

    As for the OP question I dont think the brand has anything to do with lawsuits.
    I mean even if it was the actual gun, the gun maker cannot sue the newspaper for that.
    They usually take random pictures.In one articles they talked about a Beretta (or other brand, im not sure) pistol used in a crime and they had the picture of a Glock.

    Im gonna be the terrible person here and ask what did he do after he shot her stop or finish ?. . . . . . maybe it could of have been like the scene in The Boondock Saints where he accidently splatters the cat on the wall . . . . .I know im probably going to hell now for that thought

    I am just thankful that we've avoided this same outcome on hundreds of occasions. I think I'll start using my less-than-lethal shotgun taser instead.
