Willow Slough - Less Days Open

For everyone that utilizes the Willow Slough range in Northwest Indiana, I found out yesterday that they will only be open four days a week now, and they are laying off a range officer that has been with the DNR 11 years. I was told that it was politics, not cost, that provoked the change.

New days: Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun

I got the phone number for the guy at the DNR that made the decision and was encouraged to call and express my displeasure as a tax payer. If anyone else would like the guy's phone number, private message me!

Willow Slough isn't my favorite in terms of where to shoot but it is my "go to" range in terms of convenience. I use it the most of all the DNR ranges.
