I have been researching the Wilson Combat pistols online. Any idea why these are so expensive. Many are listed for over $3000. Why the high price. Is there something very unique in how they are made? Thanks

    Top quality costs top dollar.

machined from bar stock parts (more expensive than cast or MIM), final hand fitting of parts skilled craftsmen, and so on.

Sure, there is a little premium built in for the name. But I bet Bill Wilson's margin on them is less than Gaston Glock's.
