I have been reloading for a little while but not long enough to replenish my supply to SHTF standards after a trip to the range. Well I had some shopping to do today and like always stop by the ammo cabinet at Meijer. $25 for 100 rounds WWB 9mm. I turn 23 tomorrow, so have only been able to buy handgun ammo for 2 years. I can remember buying it for $20 per 100.

Well Dicks had sent me a coupon for ammo and I was heading there anyway so I figured I would just get it at Dicks. Upon arriving at the counter, I see a sign saying buy one get one 50% off WWB. :rockwoot: So, I ask the associate how much is the 9mm. He replies $32....don't buy it here buy it at Wal-Mart. That is $12 increase in two years! So with my coupon and the bogo it was a little cheaper than at Meijer, but still not cool.

Throughout my short life I have seen gas go from $1.25 to $4.00 and 9mm ammo go from $20 to $32. Why do I have to love driving fast and shooting guns? I am glad that I got primers for $27 at the 1500, but in a pinch $32 to scratch my trigger finger :(

I bought a 100 round box of 9mm and .45acp tonight at wally world here in Terre Haute. The 9mm was 25.00 and the 45 was 36.00. We have a big family shoot tomorrow and I have been slacking on my reloading duties/going to the range to much so I was forced to buy some. I feel your pain!!

I did take advantage of the sale at dicks. I was going to go somewhere else but then I noticed the airtight ammo box free if you purchase any 4 boxes of winchester ammo. That made it a pretty deal.

The Dick's in Lafayette had their .223 WWB on sale for 7.99. They also had about 50 boxes in stock. Usually I never see the 2 together. Had I not started into reloading I would have picked up 200 or so rounds

The castleton one has boxes of remington .223 for 6.99 (or was it 7.99). I grabbed a few boxes, since I haven't seen them under ten bucks in a bit.

Wally World in Camby-just bought 9mm Federal 115 FMJ for $11.97 /50. I also bought some TulAmmo in 9mm for $9.47 /50. Never shot TulAmmo before, gonna give it a shot. Its steel case much like Blazer. WWB in 9mm was $24.97 /100.
