I was in Main Street Wine and Cheese for a yummy breakfast this morning when the owner, Ivan, gave me a sample shot of a "wine slushee" which was iced chocolate infused with white wine. It was delicious.

If anyone is up for a different summer drink you may want to check out a wine slushee. It comes in chocolate, peach and other flavors.

We had wine slushee's at the New York State Fair in September 2006. They were great. Just wine "slushed". They were great! Too bad they don't serve them around here.

Brown County Winery has a bagged slushie mix you can buy to mix with their wines (or any other vino). They didn't have samples when they showed them to us, but they looked interesting.

Wally world sells some pre-mixed liquor slushies. Toss them in the freezer, pull them out and let them thaw a bit, mush the bag up and serve.

I had 2 beers and a couple fingers worth of Bourbon. (I work nights so that may be cheating a bit)

I had one of the pomegranate one and it was gross. I think technically it is made from malt liquor or "beer" on the ABV packaging info. I would love to try the Brown County one.
