I am in the market for a backpacking gun in 10mm. I’ve owned and enjoy both Glocks and S&Ws, but I don’t shoot well with the extra wide G20.
Anyone have any luck with the M&P 10mm?
How is the quality of Springfield (XD line)? I’ve never owned or shot them.
And how does the grip size of the Springfield XD-M 10mm compare to the Glock 20?

    I bought a Springfield XD-M® Elite 3.8” Compact OSP™ 10mm last year.
I liked it enough I sold my Glock 29 10mm because it fits my hand better.

    I bought an S&W M&P 10mm 4.6" and sold my Glock 20 10mm because the S&W fits my hand like a glove.
My M&P 10mm has been flawless except in the case of shooting WIDE flat tipped hardcast bullets.

The S&W M&P 10mm 4.6" fits my hand best too.
But for a smaller pistol, the Springfield XD-M® Elite 3.8” Compact OSP™ 10mm is pretty good too, and smaller and lighter than the M&P 4" 10mm.

After handling the Smith, Sig, and FN 10mm. I liked the Smith best. It felt just right.
The Sig is a very very close second.
    FN just didn't feel right.
I'm still trying to find the XDME 10mm FS to see how it feels vs the Smith.
I haven't handled the Smith yet in 10mm but I tend to like the feel of Smith grips and they tend to fit me well so I have no trouble believing that.

IMO, the XDM feels better than my 20sf and the Tanfo I used to own but not quite as good as the Sig X10.

    Okay ladies, and gentlemen INGO.

I'm now in the hunt for my next polymer Full Size 10mm.

    Leading the pack is this

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on one.

However, I've not got a chance to peruse the XDME FS 10mm yet.

Anyone with hands on knowledge and experience your input would be greatly appreciated.
