My son is 16, and he wants to deer hunt archery & firearms. There is a Youth Hunt/Trap Combo for $7.00, then there are the Archery for $24 & the Firearms for $24.

What does he need? I know I need the $48.00 worth as an adult, but does his youth hunt/trap combo cover him for all??

    Thanks,

    Allen.

Youth combo covers all tags (archery, firearms, bonus antlerless, etc.), but he needs to have taken hunter ed course to get it. If he doesn't take the hunter ed course this year he can get the youth combo APPRENTICE license ($7) for up to 3 years. The apprentice licenses were designed to allow people to get into hunting without having to start with the course.
