I didn't make it, but I made it pretty.

I did a full brake service (calipers, rotors and pads) on the truck since the one wheel has been grinding badly. This is the result of all the metal being ground off the rotor and pad backing plate.

That is unacceptable, so I had to add some pretty to it.
Ten minutes on the buff jack.

I couldn't find the "show us how much of a cheapskate you are " thread so I'll put this here.
I've saved a uspsa cardboard to use for cutting scrap cardboard into targets for years. This will make the process much quicker and easier. It will also serve as the end plate for the stack of cut cardboards so they store easier in the garage.

Update. This makes it incredibly easy and faster. Being able to put my hand on the wood and lean on it while I cut is a big deal. Cutting cardboard with a cardboard template doesn't allow that.
I cut all these in maybe 20 minutes counting cleanup.

I finished this. A M16 model 604. Slick side Air Force version that was also used in Vietnam by the Navy's Riverine Force.

I took a run-of-the-mill Anderson lower and removed part of the fence. Well not completely correct because the partial fence really should have been cut back a little farther over the magazine release, this is about as far as I wanted to take it. Maybe in the future I'll get a correct one from PSA. I still need to get some period correct take down pins, magazine release, safety and bolt release.
