I'd like to see an extended cab with a 6 foot bed. Beds are getting too short.
Still in the process of being ruined!Yuk. Looks like a 90s Camry on a truck frame painted the color of vomit. Where’s the bronco?!
It's the color of butterscotch. I had a Ranger years ago with a 6 cyl, why the heck would they limit it to 4?
So, a 'pickup truck' for people who really don't need a pickup truck.
The new 2.3 liter 4 cylinder EcoBoost engine eats the old 4.0 Ranger V6 engine for lunch.
EcoBoost 2.3 liter 4 cylinder
285 HP @ 5500 rpm
305 lb-ft of torque @ 2750 rpm
2011 Ford Ranger 4.0 liter V6
207 hp @ 5250 rpm
238 lb-ft @ 3000 rpm
I want to see the MPG on that... Ecoboost's suck for mileage while towing or interstate driving...
Recently had one as a rental and was shocked at the great fuel economy, until I took it on the interstate and it fell on it's face. IE, I drove 400+ miles of state highway, stop & go, not over 63 mph and got 22 mpg; put it on the interstate for another 400 miles and it sucked the average down to 17 mpg (that was avg for the whole 800 miles so it had to be getting ~12 mpg on the interstate). As it turns out, that's the same reason my buddy traded his ecoboost in on a new Chevy.
