    Cowboy Action Shooting

    After a comment I made about Appleseed, Que said post more about cowboy action, so I am. Here in Indiana, you will find clubs from SASS SASS-Home of Cowboy Action Shooting (Single Action Shooting Society) and NCOWS Welcome to NCOWS (National Congress of Old West Shootists).

    Great post Grizhicks. As you know I am a cowboy action shooter already and I would like to encourage everyone to come and try shooting a cowboy match. If your at all curious about it, come and watch a match or two and ask questions while your there. The people are always freindly and there is always extra guns to be shot and holsters to wear. Its a great way to spend a day shooting several different guns. SASS, Single Action Shooting Society. Shooters range from young to old and theres a bunch of classes to choose from.

    YES, you see visitors at most matches; just need "eye & ears". While a few clubs shoot year round, most will start up in March or April.

    Don't be surprised if you get talked into trying a stage; more than likely, someone will stick guns in your hands and say "go to it".
