I am thinking of buying a .40 for no other reason than I do not have one. I have generally gone with stainless steel pistols whenever possible. It looks like almost any .40 out there is composite frame. Are there any stainless .40's?
The smallest steel frame .40s are probably the Kahr pistols, MK40 and K40 single stack models.
Beretta 90-two. There is some plastic there, but the frame is steel.
My favorite .40 SS is the Beretta 96FS Inox. Not sure that Beretta makes them anymore, but they are a heck of a full-size handgun.
What is a good 1911 in .40 that is still in production besides springfield emp and sti?
