I was going to ask the same thing. I just got some tickets and I was wondering.

I have been patted down at the RCA dome, but I have a holster for my j-frame that goes where they do not pat down.

    Has anyone carried there?

I was at a Pacers game last Sunday and they were using a metal detector wand.

Of course they might be better off searching the players

i brought knives in, but wouldn't recomend it. they pyshically pat you down. didn't see any metal detectors, but they went hands on at the gate.

I carry EVERY time I go. I carry mostly with a Fobus ankle holster with my Kahr PM40 or in the small of my back when it's warmer out. Never had anyone "catch" it and ask me to leave. I have carried at the RCA dome and Lucas oil for the last 4 years.

I've been to two games. The pat downs are pretty lame. As long as you don't carry on your side or a shoulder holster you should be fine.

A heavy coat couldn't hurt either.

I wouldn't even try, but you've already gone. I've been there for several events, Colts games included. I was pat down pretty good at a few Colts games, extremely well at some high school games, and fairly well at the open house.

I guess the lady who patted me down just liked ladies cause I got the best pat down in my life when I went to a colts game this year. If I was concealing a needle she would have known it.

The pat-downs at the Colts' games are when it pays to either carry SOB, ankle, or Thunderwear!

    Or in your front pocket....

I cant tell you what I did at the game yesterdsay....well just because.

But I can tell you that I got to watch the guys at the west enterance for a few min. while I finished my Taco Bell (forgot they wouldnt let me take it in)

If you were to carry in an ankle rig, smart carry, or pocket they would not find out.

I watched several event staff pat down. They ask you to hold your arms out, the use the side or back fo their hands to go from your shoulders to wrists on the top of your arms, then under to your arm pits, down your side, reach around your back to your kidney's and around to about the 10:30 and 1:30 posiitions. At not time did their hands go below my belt line or anyone elses belt line.

    No metal detectors either.

I'm not a big sports fan, especially professional ball sports.
I understand peoples' support for a particular team and all that, but what I don't get is your liking to a particular team member, where a grown man would be so supportive as to wear a jearsey with another man's name on it.
I'm not a homophobe, but it just stikes me as a bit wierd to see this as a normal means of support.
I can understand this to be something children would do, as they have a hero to look up to, but for adults to show this...I just don't get it.
How did this trend ever get started?

An excellent point! :yesway: Why any one would go around wearing something praising another man for his skill in playing with his (foot, base, basket, etc. ;) ) balls :bigballs: is quite beyond my comprehension...

I don't give a flying %@(! about sports, but I have a colts jersey with MY name on it :) as during the season we can wear them to work on Fridays, and it beats a dress shirt any day of the week.

I was really looking for someone who actually does wear a professional jersey with a player's name on it to defend the reason they do so...no takers as of yet.
You see plenty of them at Wal-Mart on Sundays.
Are you just too embarrassed to fess up, or what? Please help me understand.

My Jersey is a professional one... 90$ replica jersey, identical to the players' but with my name and number of my choice on it. :)
