Updated to include Kitty + Mr. Kitty. :D
We are very low on napkins & have zero paper plates right now.
Do you know what you are bring hardware wise?
If there is anything you or Mr. Kitty would like to shot post so we can see if another member has "xyz" gun/rifle so you can try it out.

We can do plates and napkins-consider it covered. Do we need an EZ-Up for shade? I've got one if wanted.

Well, we're the newbies so we have a 327 taurus revolver and he just got a Rugar LC9. That's the extent of the hardware. As far as "like" to shoot, :dunno: but point me at it, show me how, and I'll try!

    Thank you for the plates/napkins!
If you want to bring the EZ-Up Shade that would be great but if it's too bulk for you and Mr. Kitty don't worry about it. The benches are covered so it does provide limited shade. We have had an ez-up before and it has saved our bacon when it's rained.

As this is your first time you may want to bring a chair since there is only one sitting benching in the area. :( Also I'm going to sound like a broken record by the time this event gets here but don't forget..

We got bite up real bad the last time!

Got it. Without boy-child, no problem on the EZ-up. I'll figure out some food closer to the event.

Never go anywhere without the bug spray and sun screen. Lobster is not a good look.

Mr. Kitty is David - just in case. He's not much for computer form or he'd be here too.

Sounds like I'll be able to make it, I'll bring my new Remington 33 .22 rifle, my Llama .22 pistol, and probably my Mossberg 500, with plenty of ammo for all.

Note that the event occurs in JULY 2011 you DO NOT need a LTCH to bring your handguns to the range. Per the new state law that goes into effect on 01 JUL 2011 you can take a handgun to the range IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN LTCH by doing the following:
    1) Unloaded
    2) In a locked container
    3) Not within your reach (ie. trunk)

    This is great news!

I'll be working that weekend...have a great time!

Just out of curiosity, how many brand new shooters will be there?

Here's what I'm thinking ... I have a few range trips planned in the coming weeks. If anyone is completely brand new or plans on bringing someone completely brand new to shooting, I am more than willing to meet with you or your friend/co-worker/neighbor/boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband/etc. for the sole purpose of introducing you/them to some basic firearms handling before the Meet & Shoot. I'll cover both rifle and handgun with you/them. It will not be an all inclusive period of instruction and it will not be formal "training" either. Just a crash course on safety and the basics. I believe this will make your experience at the Meet & Shoot more rewarding by allowing you/them to be less aprehensive about what you are doing and allow you to enjoy your time safely. This also allows me to be more proactive about safety concerns (real or imagined) I've expressed in the past regarding the Meet & Shoots. Besides, I'm offering my guns, my ammo, my targets and my gear. You will only need to bring yourself (them) and a positive attitude. If anyone is interested, PM me. I'm available most any day I am not working and the ranges are open (except for next week). If you are female, let me know that ahead of time so that my wife can be there.

If you are not going to the Meet & Shoot but would like to still take me up on my offer, shoot me a PM and let me know.

I would offer to do this at the Meet & Shoot but I will be at the NPCCC Steel Plate Match that morning. I wouldn't get out of there until about noon and it would take forever and a day to get to Winamac. :D

Put me down as a definite maybe. I have plans for that day, but I might be able to make it. I'll update my post as soon as I find out my schedule.

If someone gives me a ride I'll have:

    GSG 1911- I have ammo
    G19 gen4 w/ 3.5 connector- limited ammo
    Marlin 795 w/ Tech Sights - I have ammo

I also have a .22LR revolver, a single shot bolt action .410, and a Mosin Nagant 91/30 if anyone would like me to bring them.

What time do you usually finish up?

You can leave whenever you like. The food is typically ready to eat by 12:00. I tend to leave 1 hour before they kick us out. :D It's a long drive so I try to make the most of it and stay all day. Others depending on drive leave before. I know clif45 also tends to stay till the very end.

Will be there. Will bring my Savage 10FCP .308, AR15 (5.56 carbine), and Taurus pt1911. Will bring a lot of rounds for the rifles, less rounds for my pistol. Will bring whatever food we need. Whoever is running this should PM me and tell me what food to buy.

    Updates OP.
In terms of food there is no requirement to bring food to the event. Food is always welcomes if you do come. We have 13 people coming right now and hotdog//hamburgers we are OK (16 of each).

Possible ideas for you to bring would be:
    Relish
Some type of desert (mini donuts, wrapped Twinkies, ho-hos, etc..)
    Case of soda-pop (cans)
Some type of dip for chips.
    Cups

Look for a yellow wagon like this:
    07180002000
and you will find the group.
