I have a Beretta M9, and a SWR Octane 9 inbound to my dealer. I was wondering if I can use the included booster on this gun, or if I should be using a fixed mount?

    Thanks!

the nielsen device is not needed on the m9 because it has a fixed barrel

not always true, it really depends on the weight of the can.

the bigger heaver cans will still require a nielsen device to run... its best just to test it out or find some one with the same combo to ask.

Just to clarify, it won't hurt to run a booster on this host, even if it's not needed to cycle it? I don't have a fixed mount for it, and don't plan on buying one if it's not necessary.
