In Yemen, a terminator drone targeted and killed the 16-year-old son of Anwar Al-Awlaki. He was also a U.S. citizen, and had also not been charged with any crime. I've seen no reports that claimed he was any kind of terror-mastermind or posed even the slightest threat to America's national security, as he rode around in the Yemen countryside with his teenage buddies.

    Nothing to see here. :coffee:

al-Awlaki family speaks out against deaths
The teenager, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, a U.S. citizen who was born in Denver in 1995, and his 17-year-old Yemeni cousin were killed in a U.S. military strike that left nine people dead in southeastern Yemen. The young Awlaki was the third American killed in Yemen in as many weeks. Samir Khan, an al-Qaeda propagandist from North Carolina, died alongside Anwar al-Awlaki.

When you can point to the government assassinating an American citizen in THIS country, you will have my attention. Until then, I am massively unconcerned with the fate of US traitors in foreign countries with ineffective central governments and no extradition treaties with the US.

WHEN that happens, it will already be too late.

What a tragedy. Just think of the lives that could have been lost attempting to bring these "citizens" to justice. Hard working, all American young men, stripped of the privilege of dying for their country while attempting to make sure that these most deserving souls were provided the protection of the constitution they so desperately want to burn. I, for one, won't be sleeping well tonight thinking of the poor, poor An-Wa-Cram-it family as they mourn the loss of their loved ones.

May their virgins have genital warts and chronic halitosis.

Not based (solely) on their age, that's for sure.

Well, age certainly needs to be considered, right?

If abdullah muhamed ala akhbar, is killed via hellfire, along with his wife and infant children, for promoting violence over the internet, is that ok?

    Ok, reset.

Bad guy is targeted by drone. He is taken out during Sunday dinner. Several women and children are killed as a result of the CIA hellfire attack.

    Good, bad, or indifferent?
Sadly, par for the course. The US drone programs have been murdering innocent people for years now. No-one cares because they're just little brown people on the other side of the globe. "Oh, we killed a 'bad guy', too bad we had to also murder 12 other innocent people to get him. Oh, well". We're creating the next generation of terrorists and most Americans are just fine with that.

So, you're saying we need to kill all of the children so there won't be a next generation of terrorists???
