No. If you are local it's worth the $5 to hang out and kick the dung with friends & family. Not worth driving more than a half hour away for it.

I'm going against the tide here. I've probably bought and sold more guns at the Seymour show than any other. There are usually some deals to be had. It's small, but I think it is worthwhile.

I live about less then 3 miles away and I am not even planning on going. Most of what is there are "private dealers" who usually want way too much for the "personal" junk. If you just sort of hang out all day somebody might walk in with something cool. Just save your $5 and go to ACME and Bite the Bullet.

Wow....what a bunch of naysayers! I personally go to every gun show I can, you NEVER know what is going to be on a certain table at a certain time. If you deal with the private sales guys, deals can be found! I've picked up quite a few nice firearms at gun shows that highly resemble flea markets! By the way, I'm the guy waaay back in the back corner if yer planning on coming by tomorrow, I sold 5 handguns today for some really good (to the buyer) prices! I'll have my INGO hat on!

I think of the smaller gunshows like a garage sale, mostly stuff I do not want but once in a while I find a dandy item, I found an antler handled small knife at the last show that I attended.
So I would not travel far but 1/2 hr seems reasonable to me.

I believe it is $6.00 now to get in and I quit going a while back due to the already numerously stated reasons. I live in Seymour and agree with what has been said, go to Acme and Bite the Bullet.

I saw that there is a gun show in Seymour on November 5th and 6th. I've only been to the one at the National Guard Armory. Anyone like to comment on the upcoming gunshow at the "Shops of Seymour" on Tanger Blvd.?

Personally like the smaller shows because have found more good surprises than bigger shows. Found a Beretta A303 with 2 barrels at Franklin, IN show. Picked up a Beretta 22 pistol at Seymour. Nice deal on a KelTec 9mm at Seymour. Give it a try and judge for yourself.

This is the first show in Seymour for Central Indiana Gun Shows, different promoter than the Armory shows. They do several small shows in Indiana and have a decent group of vendors that follow them around.

Might be worth the $5 but who knows?

I might try the gun show in Seymour this coming Saturday. I'm in the market for a metal-framed 9mm pistol, like S&W 3913, Beretta 92FS or CZ 75B. I might also consider a S&W 39-2 or more current model or a Browning Hi Power if the price is reasonable.

Originally the Central In Gun Show was scheduled for Romweber Market Place in Batesville for this weekend but now is schedule for Seymour instead. Hmmmm, wonder what's up with that. I was going too.....

Another show in Seymour with a different promoter? More information please. I would go check that one out.
