Well yes & no. But now he has gone all "sue happy" and thinks he is the SOPA Sue Nazi.

Would SOPA apply to words as well? Like in my AVATAR the word "Jedi"?
The picture I own since that is a custom LEGO minfig I had created for me. So no suing me for that one.
    SOPA nazi?
    No SOPA for you!

You own the photo, but you don't own the copyright of the LEGO minifig, even if it's a custom minifig. The concept of the minifig is owned by LEGO. SOPA will allow LEGO to sue both you and INGO for using that in your photo and posting it here.

u r mean! BTW you forget that George Lucas can also sue me since the figure is a Star Wars character and only The LEGO Company has a contract with Lucas to make star wars related minifigs.

Comcast kills DNS rerouting to protect DNSSEC, while it continues to push for SOPA's DNS blocking | The Verge

Comcast, a major supporter of SOPA, just completed an 18-month technology rollout of DNSSEC, which guarantees that the URL you're clicking on is going to the right IP address. With this technology, it's impossible for Comcast to comply with SOPA. Here's a helpful explanation from the comments on the article:
Actually it’s even better than that.
Not are they not able to enforce SOPA, but the technology they are implementing is actually in contravention of the act as it stands. To all intents and purposes SOPA will outlaw DNSSEC.

    A brief explanation:
DNSSEC is a means of preventing hacked or rogue DNS servers (the machines that turn domain names like theverge.com into IP addresses) from serving up faked results, so someone can’t hack a server and pretend to be Google.com, or theverge.com or your bank.

SOPA will require ISPs to block DNS results for blocked sites. DNSSEC, when fully implemented, will do an end run around this restriction due to the way it works. It will automatically circumvent the SOPA blocks.

SOPA makes it illegal to supply, provide or develop technology, tools or services for the purposes of circumvented SOPA blocks.
So, having implemented DNSSEC, Comcast are providing a service that would be illegal under SOPA.

Even more ironic is that some of the biggest supporters of DNSSEC are the DoD, NSA and various other branches of government whose job it is to help secure the USA’s infrastructure. The same goes for Tor, which is used to get around China’s great firewall, and which is supported by the US government.

SOPA is an absolute cluster, and demonstrates the utter hipocracy of the US political system.

I was looking on the Indy Craigslist page this morning and saw this.

    craigslist | about > SOPA

I don't really care in this particular instance that Craigslist is anti-gun. Any group that is anti-SOPA has at least one redeeming quality.

I saw this on the Boston CL as well.
Funny thing the New Hampshire CL often has firearms for trade, mostly in the musical instruments section. They must not be flagging the posts in "live free or die" state to my north.

Ron Paul is against SOPA, NDAA, and the Patriot Act. This is a great video (I think the ominous music helps bring home the point):

Well, well, well....look who's in favour of SOPA....wonder how many people will boycott his businesses? I will, but then again I already forgo the dubious pleasure of his endeavours.

Murdoch Slams Obama For "Supporting Online Piracy"-Calls Google "Piracy Leader"

Rupert Murdoch never stands against Police State power. How funny that he "tweets" in favor of it. :xmad:

As usual all the Fox News shows and neocon pundits are silent on the issue. They always do their best to keep Americans asleep when it counts. Life-changing legislation can take a backseat to some B.S. soundbytes from Michelle Obama.
