    I havent seen anyone on here with one of these, S&W SD9....has anyone tried it?
    I think they are great, i know alot of people were not impressed seeing this come out, but until you try one..dont knock it.

    Took the plunge and picked up a spray can ... or two. First time. Hardest part was deciding to go through with it.

    How did you get the cool pattern?

    Used a fluorescent light "egg crate" grid diffuser ... available at a hardware store. I got mine out of a dumpster. Laid the gun flat with the grid on top (1" thick grid works best) and sprayed the darker color at a 45 degree angle over the lighter base. (Kahki for the base, Dark Forest Green for the pattern)

    This was a test for a bigger project (AR rifle). I didn't quite get the bottom edge of the slide correct.
