There is a reason people don't like being stereotyped or profiled, because it works and has alot of truth behind it.
I could list examples, but there are exceptions to every stereotype.

Seems to me like you just have some daddy issues to clear up, and are taking it out on LEO and everyone in general. Perhaps we aren't the ones who are butthurt??? :dunno:

I'm not arguing with the idea behind staying in business. I don't mind the prices. But Lrahm said me stereotyping all LEO's as Domestic Terrorists was like him saying everyone in my profession cheats people. Which of course being in retail we do. So I believe you'rE the one not getting the point.
    FTFY.

LEO's are not domestic terrorists. Just because you know 5 people who are on power trips, does not make the whole lot on a power trip.

Retail is not about cheating people, it's about customer service and trying to create a positive image of the company...which you are not doing for yours in front of about 18,000 people...

I have daddy issues? Not really, I have a good relationship with my father and enjoy long meaningful talks with him and all his wisdom. I have LEO issues. I don't like having my rights trampled by tyrants.

What rights are being trampled by LEO? You have rights, you must exercise them. Anyone wants to search your vehicle. You must DENY that if there is no probable cause.

The LEO are not the one's trampling your rights, it's the guys writing the laws. Perhaps your anger is wrongly directed.

There hasn't been any searches of my vehicle, and LEO's have the power of choice, they don't have to make up fake laws and regulations.
Ok. So be a good sheep and get in the back of the squad car. Then go to court. Don't say a word.

Every single LEO encounter I have ever had has been positive. I live in Huntington. The LEO sit and pull people over like crazy. I've denied search of my vehicle as the stop wasn't even warranted "Your car fits such and such description"

This was even before ever owning a gun, or probably even before INGO existed.

Allowing stuff to happen is the exact same thing as consent. You have to voice your concern. If they are full of BS, tell them to call their supervisor out. Pretty sure they need IC codes to do anything, and if they can't site them, then that's on them.

Again, I've never met an ******* LEO when I know what my rights are. They have gotten frustrated and made calls over radio, but in the end, it took 5 minutes out of my day.

I have no idea how old you are, but having a simple disdain and hatred for people who actually put their lives on the line is quite simply distasteful. Yes, there are bad seeds in every bunch, but it does not mean the whole crop is bad.

Perhaps you should look at why you feel the way you do, as it is not normal. These are the guys you want to be on your side if you ever have to defend your life or someone else's. It's typically not good to have a disdain for law enforcement, and announce it as publicly as you are, as you would seem a renegade...going out looking for your own justice.

On another note, if you are a law abiding citizen, you have nothing to worry about with LEO. :)

I spent my last day at work finding a home for three children who lived in the worst conditions ever. One was a Downs Syndrome child 2 months old who weighed 6 pounds. Probably never picked up or cared for. I won't go into the conditions they lived in, yet I am a tyrant.

I am voicing my opinion, it's called a lawsuit. And your forgetting one of the most important facts of self defense. When you need help, the Police are only a few MINUTES away.

Did you come up with that all by yourself?

Again, abide within the laws and statutes and you should never have to deal with a LEO. Typically when they become *******s is when someone is being one first. I HAVE seen this first hand, and it never ends well.

Why the hell are you so combative? This is quite ridiculous.

I stand by what I said. My father was a cop for 11 years then worked for the Feds on the Indiana State Correctional Facilities SRT, he is disgusted by what the profession has become and the people who now work in the line of work.

So your dad is disgusted because "it ain't how it used to be." I guarantee the officers before him said the same thing about him and his generation. Every retired officer I know talks about how different it was in his day. Add in the thread you started about issues you had with the Sheriff's Office and this becomes a lot clearer. I'd still not tell people that if they come to your shop you'll outright try to cheat them. But, I had it all figured out too before I was even old enough to drink.
