everyone has varying opionions. i respect that. i simply am saying that it is mine, that as long as they are still armed, and alive, they are still a threat. i have been taught to eliminate the threat. i guess it would depend on what the op's definition of incapacited is. to me that would mean unconscious or otherwise unable to move any part of their body. if that is the case then i guess i wait for 911 to show up. chances are they will bleed out before help gets there, not my problem. o
the odds are they are dead by the time they hit the ground anyway..

Jeez! You still trying to glom on to a tank?:n00b:

Gas would be a problem (2 gallons per mile). I wouldn't have to fight for a parking spot, I win. If I get into a wreck, I still win. I have been shot at in my car before. I don't have to worry about that unless you have an RPG. I do need a good paint scheme and maybe a bumper sticker saying "my other vehicle is a Crown Vic". Any other ideas?

Draw back. My .45 rounds are a lot cheaper than a .50 cal or a 105 mm.

    Hopefully not Genera
If I have to shoot a guy inside my house in self-defense, and he's incapacitated, it is wrong to take some cash from his wallet to replace my self-defense ammo?

Just askin', that stuff ain't cheap you know.

You're safe from the RPG but watch out for that retired librarian down the street with the 105.

Call 911 first, then use duct tape to tape the bad guys hands behind their back so they can't hurt you. Then take their shirt and make a compress out of it and duct tape it over their wound or wounds. Make sure you put additional duct tape over all hairy areas that you see. By using duct tape you are applying pressure to help stop the bleeding and providing comic relief for the people who have to remove the extra duct tape later.

Duct tape really is a multipurpose tape.

Can you not throw a little super glue in there too ... somewhere?

Can you not throw a little super glue in there too ... somewhere?

That's a great idea, any suggestions on placement?

OK the perp is trying to get what he wants -whether it be your roastbeef sandwich, your $, your life or your families lives, if you pull your gun you shoot to kill. If he's still breathing you need more range time, and certainly do not help or give aid let the pros do that. That's their job not yours. Your job is to protect you and what's yours :rockwoot:

I forgot to say if he or she's still breathing - RELOAD! -and put an end to the threat - he might heal and have a revenge plot -you want to think about that - I wouldn't

No, you only shoot to stop the threat (period). Never shoot again once he has stopped and not a threat. You will have some explaining to do later if you do.

Yeah, like why you aren't a flight risk to the judge at your bail hearing :)

I go to church with two and know several more. After 35 years I have to know someone. :):

Really it would be hard to desguise my tank as a 79 chevy. The tank would have to go also.

Really one of the judges that I went to church with ruled against me when a guy tried to run me over on the Lloyd. He chased me for about 40 yards. He missed me by about a foot when I tried to shoot him (didn't shoot, too many bystanders). He got work release instead of jail time. I wasn't too happy but I don't make the rules. When he got caught, he tried to kill the K-9. Too long of a story.
