Indy Trading post is running a deal on Groupon for their range passes for the next couple of days:

    • $29 for 10 30-minute shooting range passes (a $60 value)
    • $59 for 10 one-hour shooting range passes (a $160 value)
This is even better than the INGO deal that was offered when they first opened (it was $40 for 10 30-minute passes). I think it's a pretty good deal! You have until Tuesday to buy, if I'm doing the math right.

Thanks for posting! I think I'll grab a couple myself... one for me, and one for DoggyMama's dad... just in time for Fathers Day! :yesway: Good timing too because I just used the last "punch" on my card the other day. :)

Keep in mind it looks like you have one month to use it once the pass has been activated. That seems strange since it doesn't mention anything about the month timeframe anywhere else?!?

How is this a good deal? It's not a good deal.

How is this not a good deal? Ten 30 minute range pass at full price is $80 ($8 you pay each visit without a pass), this pass is $30 a $50 savings over walk in fees. How is that not a good deal?

Actually a ten visit pass ( 10 half hours) is $60. Individually, a half hour is $8, so yes, if you pay each time you go, then 10 visits will cost you $80.
The Groupon deal is the ten visit pass (which is normally $60) for $29, so it ends up costing you $2.90 per visit!
Henktermaat.... Do you know of an indoor range that charges less than $2.90 for a half hour? If so, please share! I'm sure we would all love to know where this bargain basement range is!
Even at $8 per half hour, as far as I know, Indy Trading Post is the lowest priced indoor range in the state! At $2.90, your not even paying your share of the cost of upkeep to the range!
So really, Henktermaat is correct in saying "it's not a good deal"!
    IT'S A GREAT DEAL!!!!!!

Edit: you have one month to exchange the Groupon coupon for your range pass. The range pass does NOT expire!

IDT has become my favorite place to shoot. Im leaving in 30 minutes to shoot there today. You cant beat the price with or with out a pass. But the deal in this thread is smokin.

So, any way you slice it, you can get a great deal on a range pass at ITP!:rockwoot:

It's a GREAT deal. $3 for a half hour of range time or you can go to Pop's and pay $19 for an hour if you can get in. The only surprise for me is that it's as cheap as it is.

I'm definitely not trying to make waves here, ITP is my favorite place of all and I don't know what I'd do without it. I just noticed in the ad for the groupon thing it says "Work on your quick-draw skills...", um, that's not allowed, right? Moreover, I've been seeing the ITP commercial on speed a lot this weekend and the second scene of a shooter in the indoor range the guy does a 2 shot rapid fire, um, that's not allowed, right? Again, not making waves, just asking for a little clarification because the last thing I wanna do is break a rule and get on any of the staff's bad side....
