I applied for a carry permit almost 2 months ago now. I had a prior permit back in the 90's that expired. Is this a normal time frame? It's seem to me i got my old 1 within days. I am in allen co.:(

Welcome to INGO.It's NOT a "conceal carry permit" it's LTCH, LICENCE To Carry a Handgun, both open carry and concealed carry are legal in Indiana. :)

I guess its all about patients

What if he does not work in the medical field? Can he still obtain a license?

    Ha ha!

Hey guys, here's a quick question. I filled out my online application a few weeks ago with every good intention of following up on it, but now the sheet with my whatever number on it has been lost forever, another casualty of moving. I can't figure out how to find that number again to reference, and I never got any kind of email to go off of either. Should I just fill out another app? Can they look me up if I just show up at the station? Or will I be tackled and forced to the ground the minute I step outside and taken in to questioning and slapped in the face with a trout?

IIRC, the online apps are only good for 30 days. Then you have to fill it out again. They can't look it up in their system.
I found out the hard way.
They WILL give you the long form to fill out down at County if you make fun of them for being too fat and lazy to open a drawer to hand it to you. The lady cop doing the fingerprinting had a good laugh when I pointed out to them that pens and paper still work. The evil look on the clerk's face was priceless...
