I like the way you are thinking. As a child who spent his impressionable years cutting his teeth on the Big Red Machine, it has been a painful adulthood enduring season after season of mediocre play (ok, they did slip in one championship that seemed more like an accident than a well executed plan)...

Hope the Reds are able to get back that winning post season attitude...

I was really happy that the White Sox went on a skid to end the season and put themselves out of the playoffs. I was getting bored of watching the game. I'd much rather see a smaller salaried team end up winning it. I really enjoy watching the teams that try to buy playoffs and rings lose.

Yep, used to watch Reds games on my Gpa's lap in the 80's before he passed. Been a fan ever since. Sad to say, their last good season prior to this year, was when the strike occured.
