    FYI:

    As of this afternoon there is a 6 box total/combined limit on ammo at the Fisher's WalMart (E. 96th St.). That means if you buy 2 boxes of .22LR and 4 boxes of .223, you're done for the day!!!! :dunno:

    BTW - They have several boxes of .223 Remington/UMC 55GR. 50 Rnd. packs for $25.97 and also a good supply of the Federal .22LR 36GR. Value Pack (550 Rnds.) for $13.47.

    :patriot:

    UPDATE: They now have a sign posted for the 6 box limit as of this afternoon (Thurs. 04/30/09). Also.... I spoke to the MILF babe dept. manager and discovered she's a shooter!!!! :wow::bacondance:

    All of the aforementioned .223 is gone but the "babe" says more is on the way as she is doing her own ordering directly from Federal. Again.....
    :wow::bacondance:

    She says more ammo to come in a couple of weeks!!!!
    :rockwoot: :patriot:

    UPDATE 2: As of today (Weds. 5/6/09 @ 2:45PM) New goofy twist on the 6 box limit (according to W/M employee "Terrence") is that you can only get 3 boxes of any one caliber. Now this is getting a little absurd. I supported the 6 box limit, but now this is effectively a 3 box limit if you only need one caliber. :dunno:

    BTW - All .45 gone. Still plenty of 9MM WWB available @ $10.97 per 50. :patriot:

    UPDATE 3: As of today (Weds. 5/13/09 @ 3:45PM) There are 100 round boxes of Remington .223 in stock for $39.97 and they are allowing up to 4 boxes per person!!! Also still plenty on "Winclean" .40 for $32.97 per 50. Pretty much everything else is cleaned-out. :ingo:

    Anderson walmart has the limit at 2 boxes a day. And when I was in there Sat they had some 9mm fmjs. And I bought the last box of rem 7.62x39, and a box of winchester 12 ga slugs.

    That's pretty variable. The Fishers Walmart said 4 boxes last week. Over the weekend it was one box. I bought a couple boxes of the Federal .22 today.

    Well..... Right in the middle of my transaction this MILF looking chick (dept. manager??) informed the clerk and me that the new policy was 6 boxes total. So....... :dunno:

    Yeah, I know the one you're talking about. I've mentioned before that I think the stores' policies are not well-communicated to the employees with regards to rationing, and that I think they're trying to do their best. As for her, she seems like she's on the ball and really trying to make sure everyone gets at least some ammo. We spoke briefly a week or so ago when I managed to snag one box of UMC.

    I don't care about the number of the limit, just when I get there, they have at least ONE box of the calibers I want on shelf (9 and 22, Blazer and Federal cheap stuff), I'd be happy and happier...

    Just left and they had a lot, looked like several cases, of WinClean 40 cal ammo. $32 for a box of 50.

    According to a poster on GT, Walmart issued a national letter instructing stores to limit purchases to six boxes. I think that explains Fishers upping their limit.
