From the incident in May, my LTCH was suspended. My lawyer's been getting continuances until after my criminal trial is over. Apparently, the ISP isn't content to wait. They've set my latest date for the hearing for me to defend my LTCH against charges I'm emotionally unstable will be Jan. 24, 2013 at 12:15 at the ISP HQ. No further continuances will be granted.

I was content to go before the ISP on the first administrative court date they set, but my lawyer was adamant that there was no point in having the hearing before I'd been acquitted.

Maybe (hehe, yeah right), I could even have my little pink permission slip back in my possession in time to use it as a prop in my criminal proceedings on March 8.

Suffice it to say, I'm the last person with an LTCH anyone could credibly claim was emotionally unstable.

Let us look at you name. Cathy in Blue. Any sane person would spell Cathy with a K not a C. IN as in not IN her right mind. Blue indicates manic depressive. The mere fact you participate in a gun forum further questions your good judgement.

Good luck at your hearings/trial. Hopefully the current stupidity in the news will have no impact.

Me too. I have been in front of the man 2 times for such things. They said I was a bit whack and I had to undergo some Psych evaluation. Oh I am nuts just not unstable. Well, there was an incident in 68 but that is for another time.

I prevailed in both cases. Not sure why you are facing the man but we wish you the best.

All this time I thought CathyInBlue was a Terre Haute police officer due to the forum user name. Are you sure you are not sharing too much personal information on the Internet? Not that we know who you are for real.:twocents:

I've made mention of the incident from time to time. I could tell you more, but then Guy Relford would have to kill me. :D

No. I'm not on the THPD. My issues at hand do stem from the THPD, however. I'm just in TH and my fave color is blue, hence so is most of my wardrobe, hence I'm usually, literally, "in blue".

As far as a psyche eval, irony of ironies, I'd already scheduled some psychometry exams for the day before this hearing. I'll prolly be able to walk into the ISP with a signed letter on professional letterhead from a board-certified psychologist attesting to my mental stability.

I won't tell you who I thought it might be once upon a time. ;) In the end, I might still not be completely wrong, but it doesn't matter much. I have enjoyed the posts submitted by the user utilizing the moniker CathyInBlue.
