No one is ever satisfied. The mods are either being too mean/handing out unneeded infractions or they're too lenient/no handing out enough infractions. Trying to satisfy so many people can be real hard.
+1 to the mods in a job I do not envy.

I personally can attest to just how overworked the Mod's are lately.
I received "WARNING" for being being an innocent buyer
Seriously! I received a warning for removing the selling price, and it wasn't my ad, I was the buyer!
But it was an honest mistake from one of our overworked Mod's, and besides I figured I probably needed a warning anyway.
Said "WARNING" has since been removed.
Thank you overworked/under appreciated Mod staff!

I have also reported "back door"ad bashing. Only thing in a sale thread acceptable should be "I'll take it". When guys are boasting in other threads that it's "worth the infraction". It pretty much sums up intent. I'm a semi-illiterate computer user-old fart and I can suppress the urge to comment on nutty ads.

BGDave, I checked your reported threads and we did miss one that I will take care of, right now. Thanks for your help.
Edit: I was mistaken. That ad was also removed after you reported it. Is there another ad to which you are referring? I've checked back for three months, but I don't see anything.

Just in the past couple of hours it looks like 8 ads have been removed for no pictures. With the frenzy that's going on right now, we have people coming out of the woodwork. It's ridiculous the amount of garbage we keep finding in the classifieds as well.
1) If you see something that shouldn't be there, please report it and don't comment on it in the ad. We know you may be trying to help but the best help you can do is to report the post.
2) Please please please post the pertinent information in the OP (original post).
Price (if it's a WTT, then PLEASE post your trade interests)
Pictures (OH MY GOSH... either post them or state you have none - don't say you'll post them later because most of the time they don't get posted and then people are inevitably still asking to see them... and DO NOT offer to send pics via text or email them)

Other information in the OP about how far you'll travel or if you'll ship it. That's also pertinent information. This is your ad. You should be wanting to put as much information in it as possible to sell it. People shouldn't have to ask you questions. The information should already be in the ad.
