    Superfluous use of the word 'like'

    "no pun intended" (i call bs)

    "pun intended" (ok so you intended the pun but you felt the need to point it out almost as if we wouldnt be smart enough to catch on....)

    "pulled the trigger" when not talking about a trigger

    "Weary" when the person actually means "wary." Ie-"That dark scary alley made me feel weary." No, the alley did not make you feel tired! Just one I've seen a lot of lately and drives me nuts.

    "what not" or "what not, what have you." If you're about to say that you're just wasting my time and my air.
    Please, just put a period in place of those phrases.

    There are a few words that are misused that drive me nuts, but I can't think of them now.
