    I am no grammar expert,but some words and/or phrases bend my ear the wrong way.

    "prolly" is not a word. Never has been, and probably never will be.

    And apostrophes are used to show possession, and in contractions. Apostrophes are NEVER used in plurals. I totally agree with the dollar sign thing. I hate seeing that used after numbers. Not sure where that came from.

    You're is a contraction of "you are."

    There is a place.
    Their is something belonging to them.
    They're is a contraction of "they are."

    It's is a contraction of "it is."
    Its means belonging to it.

    To expresses direction.
    Too means "also."
    Two is a number that comes after one, and before three.

    Lose means to cease to have.
    Loose means not tight.

    Weather is what it's like outside.
    Whether is an expression of inquiry.

    Where refers to a place.
    Wear is what you do with a shirt.

    I hope I made that simple enough.

    Ain't that a cryin' shame. Whoda thunk such a word was not really a word, even tho it can be spelled and pronounced. Whatever ya call it, me personally thinks it's here to stay.

    Meh..."Prolly" is just one bit of "puter-speak". I've used it many times. Comes in handy when trying to get info into a small space like a text message.

    Butt, yore prolly write, it's knot a reel ward.

    You forgot "to" and "too". "Where" and "were" are up there as well. The absolute worst for me though is when someone says (or types, I guess) "I have nothing to do...I'm so board."

    I got that one. I did forget "board." That one makes me cringe.
