New info on $300 NRA lifetime membership

Lol I haven't received the new membership packet yet.. I signed up mid January. My NRA account does say lifetime though so whatever.

I checked my status today. Upped my membership to Lifetime 3 weeks ago and member services didn't recognize me even though I used it last summer. Lady said I show up as Lifetime (and pushed for me to contribute another $250 to get bumped up to Endowment Member instead of the regular $1000 bump) but that they are over a month behind on processing all of the new Life upgrades and it is messing up Member Services recognitions. BUT I do show up as a Life Member.

The father of a friend of my daughter's noticed the NRA sticker on my truck and asked about membership and I sent him and email and mentioned the special Life Member discount. May end up with another member, who knows. Also mentioned INGO.

Packet comes with Lieftime Card, Pin, Jacket Iron On(? sew on? ) , car sticker, Lifetime member paper ( like a diploma ) A bunch of papers / forms ( Letter, what you like poll that has a portion to invite other people for lifetime membership @ 300, the 10k accident / 2.5k arms care form.

I upgraded to life member a january 1500 still have not got life card or packet . but the website shows I'm a life member . STILL WAITING !!! and they still call asking for more .

I hear ya - got a letter last week asking me to re-up my membership and I upgraded to life early February. They're just way behind I'm guessing.

Don't get me wrong, I like the NRA and everything they stand for. But why do I get renewal notices six months before my membership runs out? I got one yesterday and my membership is good until August.
