How to form a raiding party when SHTF?

IndyDave mentions in another thread that he knows some people who are likely to form a raiding party to get his goods if SHTF. So that got me thinking: how do you form a raiding party? How big should a party be, and what equipment do we need? How do we pick targets, how do we divide the spoils? Where does IndyDave live?

Is there a code we should follow? Like the Pirate's Code? If so, it is more a strict set of rules or general guidelines?

I think what you need to do is figure out how to stop the raiders and I am not referring to the football team.

I've been watching the Vikings, too. So I guess we shouldn't raid go east and Ohio every summer. We should go west and raid Illinois.

Their trial system seems a bit capricious. Killing boys to guard treasures doesn't seem like such a good idea. An alarm system might work better.

Do you really think a profit can be made,I think the socialist stole all the money?How much glory can I expect fighting unarmed sheep?I can see the appeal though the idea of burning the place to the ground is intriguing.Then of course there are these....

I say the best way to form a raiding party is to dress in loud colorful garments. Make all your raids in broad daylight. Also use rubber bullets and ammo. Oh and think ahead dig your own graves and provide a decent marker just in case. That should do it. Form up your party and have at it.
